The modified preamp circuitry improves overdriven note definition, so you'll have sonic clarity no matter how hard you push this amp. The Hot Rod DeVille 212 IV includes a pair of 12’’ Celestion® A-Type speakers, which provide powerful, well-balanced output with smooth highs, laid-back midrange and full, round lows.

The app could use a frequency display in Hertz. signal into the phone and use the calibration function in the app to calibrate the phone. Fortunately, there is a calibration function in the iStroboSoft app. The iPhone was a little out of calibration from Apple. The Planet Waves read slightly flat, the GoGo read more or less "on tune", and the Peterson iPhone app read -0.8 cent flat (♭). I made sure the forks were about 70 degrees F. The pitch of a steel tuning fork drops one cent for every eight degrees rise in temperature Fahrenheit. I pulled out a couple of tuning forks (G3 and A 440) to compare the iStroboSoft app to my new Planet Waves Mini Headstock Tuner and new GoGo Caliber Tuner. On a banjo, the display shows the 3rd string as G3 and 5th string as G4. For example, Middle C on a piano is designated C4. The music notes are displayed in the app are listed in scientific pitch notation. I doubt that a headstock piezo tuner under $40 is accurate under 1.0 cents. In addition it has a digital display how much the pitch is off (+ or -) in 0.1 cents. It takes a little getting used to, but helps accurate tuning. IStroboSoft has an arrow showing pitch up sharp (#) and pitch down flat (♭).

It is made by the same people that make the $600 AutoStrobe 490. I've been using the iStroboSoft iPhone app by Peterson Tuners for the last 3 years.
